Here’s a technique that many professional copywriters use in situations like this. It’s called “Mind Mapping.” Take out a sheet of paper and write what your business does in the center of the page. The great thing about a mind map is the random sequence.
That’s actually how the human mind works, with random thought patterns. Human beings don’t have structured or sequential thoughts. When you think of one thing, that thought can immediately trigger a completely different thought in an entirely different area. The mind map allows you to put random thoughts into an organized structure.
TRY THIS EXERCISE:
Write the name of your business in the center of the page. Write down all the benefits your company provides. Once you complete your mind map, go through the benefits you listed and highlight the most powerful ones from your clients’ point of view.
